Heat shrink sleeves / through connectors are a great way to joining cables without the need for crimping. Simply twist the two cables together and slide this sleeve over your join, positioning A solder ring over the wire join. Apply heat with a heat gun to shrink the tubing down and melt the solder ring to provide a waterproof (IP67) connection.
