Delivery
Delivery and Collection Policy
All orders placed for items which are in stock and ready to despatch are despatched / processed for collection in accordance with our delivery policy set out below.
All orders placed before 1pm on Monday to Friday will be despatched/available to collect the same day.
Orders placed after these times or on bank holidays are despatched/ready to collect the next working day.
Packaging
Most of our items are posted in a large letter format. This means you do not need to wait in for deliveries. We use plain white padded envelopes for most orders. This allows us to keep the costs down and pass the savings on to you.
We enclose delivery notes with all orders.
Orders packed for collection will be in clear bags/boxed as required.
Delivery Service and Tracking
We only deliver orders within the UK. It is not cost-effective for us to post outside the UK. However, if you wish to order outside the UK please visit our ebay store ADL Components on ebay
We despatch all orders using Royal Mail Tracked 24 or courier delivery depending on the size, weight and destination. Royal Mail Tracked 24 is fully tracked and has a 1 working day delivery aim. Our courier delivery is a next working day service.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 allows you to reschedule or redirect a delivery if needed, so no need to worry if you won't be in, schedule the delivery to suit your needs once you receive your tracking number. Deliveries can also be redirect to a Post Office or Delivery Office for collection once your order has been despatched.
A tracking/consignment number is provided when your order has been despatched.

Royal Mail Tracked 24, FedEx and DHL are all fully tracked.
Please allow up to 3 working days for delivery. If your order has still not arrived after this time please contact us and we can look into this for you.
Orders for the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland will be sent via Royal Mail only.
Back orders
Back orders may be placed on items which are out of stock but stock is expected to arrive soon. Any item which is out of stock will be identified as such on the website. If back orders can be placed you will be able to check out as normal but will be notified the orders is on back order.
If your order has not been despatched you may cancel the order at any time. Please contact us using our contact form if you wish to cancel a back order.
Once the item(s) comes back into stock, back-orders are despatched the next working day.
Collection
Collection orders are processed within 2 hours during the working day. All orders placed before 1 pm will be ready to collect the same working day. We always endeavour to process orders as quickly as possible. Collection orders placed after 1pm but before 3pm will be ready the same day wherever possible but we do not guarantee this, at busy times they will be ready the next morning.
Please wait until you have received an email/shop app notification before visiting to collect your order.
You will need to show the email or app for collection or provide the full details of the order if collecting for someone else.
You can collect orders between 8:30am - 3:30pm Mon to Thur and 8:30am - 2:00pm on Friday
