Used for
A set of fastener caps and sockets used to finish fastening boat canopy covers, can be used with a number of other DOT parts when attaching the canvas to a variety of places, fitting any configuration of other DOT fasteners.
Made from 316 grade stainless steel, these parts are very durable and corrosion resistant, perfect for harsh conditions like salt water.
Combine the CAP and SOCKET with your fabric/cover by placing the caps stem through the fabric after punching a hole, then through the centre of the socket, then use a closing tool with a hammer to expand the stem to fasten the two together while attaching the fabric.
